hile standing at the
corner of the newly poured foundation for his new home on
the north side of Awbrey Butte, Gary Norman found the views
better than he anticipated - so he raised the foundation by
two feet. Because Norman wants things perfect for the
client, a mid-project stutter-step is not uncommon in a
Gary Norman home. Some persons may view an empty lot as a
pile of dirt, but Gary is thinking about space, elevation,
sunlight and natural surroundings. His energy pours
directly into his work, and he gestures animatedly as he
describes his ideas.
